Swagat Foods was founded in 2005 with a simple but powerful mission: to make authentic ethnic groceries accessible to businesses across Europe. What started as a small warehouse operation serving a handful of local shops has grown into a trusted wholesale partner supplying over 4,000 products to restaurants, grocery stores, and food businesses across the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and beyond.
The name "Swagat" means "Welcome" in Hindi, and that spirit of hospitality runs through everything we do. We believe food connects cultures, and every product we source — from fragrant basmati rice to specialty spice blends — carries a story of tradition and craftsmanship.
